Job Description
Reporting to the Managing Director and the Board, and in compliance with the QC assurance department requirements, The Technical Manager (TM) position is responsible for the Production and Maintenance Departments on the manufacturing site. The TM is responsible for leading, creation and execution of company’s capital plan, including Infrastructure Support, and Short/ Long-term Technical support both in terms of proactive scheduled plant maintenance as well as managing on going production requirements. RESPONSIBILITIES: • Creation, submission and explanation of the Annual and 5-year Capital Plan as well as execution of the Annual Capital Plan within +/- 1% of adjusted budget. • Develop and execute formal processes for Project execution including the use of Early Management Tools and integration with Operations, Maintenance and other support departments. • Monitoring and support of execution of individual projects within +/-5% of submitted capital. • Integration of Safety, Quality and Energy and Environmental policies in all projects. • Meet or exceed all Environmental Policies and Regulatory Requirements on the site. • Develop, improve and monitor appropriate TM based metrics. • The site TM is a key driver and resource for the execution of cost savings programs and activities, namely Autonomous Maintenance (AM). AM is a critical tool in performance improvement as well as cultural development. • Direct and coordinate production, processing, distribution and other activities of industrial organizations. • Review plans and confer with research or support staff to develop new products or processes. • Develop budgets or approve expenditures for supplies, materials, or human resources, ensuring that materials, labor, or equipment are used efficiently to meet production targets. • Initiate or coordinate inventory or cost control programs. • Giving administrative and operational programs to unit's supervisor and managing them. • Review processing schedules or production orders to make decisions concerning inventory requirements, staffing requirements, work procedures, or duty assignments, considering budgetary limitations and time constraints. • Develop or implement production tracking or quality control systems, analyzing production, quality control, maintenance, or other operational reports, to detect production problems. • Prepare and maintain production and personnel records and report to the Managing Director. • Managing Development projects of Company.
Requirements
Education: • BSc or Master in Mechanics / chemical engineering / Electrical engineering with at least 5 years’ experience in Engineering, Maintenance and Management.
