Job Description

• To oversee the changes happening in the environment including both network and ITS changes.
• To measure asset and configuration management KPIs for ITS outsourced teams in accordance with their SLA.
• To support in designing Configuration and Asset Management Procedures as the process owner.
• To track the status of the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) and escalating issues and necessary actions to appropriate service management staff.
• To control access and authority levels for users of the CMDB.
• To analyze and provision reports on the CMDB status and trends.
• To develop and implement improved processes for maintaining and updating the CMDB.
• To provide continuous updates and maintenance of configurable Items information and the relations in the corporate ITSM tool.
• To determine the scope, level of detail, and specific data attributes for CIs contained in the CMDB and verify all CI relations.
• To determine the naming and coding conventions for items in the CMDB and document the changes on the DB.
• To document configuration details for every component at each installation location, including any installation-specific configuration customizations.
• To utilize the change management process to initiate and follow up on improvements to the configuration management process and tools.
• To review all CIs periodically to ensure the validity of all items.
• To provide regular reports on configuration data, ITS maintenance, and asset tools and develop and improve the capability to provide effective support to customer service delivery.
• To register records of ITS maintenance work orders and related materials and provide related reports.
• To own overall responsibility for ITS assets data consistency across regions and related updates on the DBs.
• To prepare additional data for migration into the CMDB as well as final migration of data.
• To support the maintenance planner (configuration management) to set up and monitor progress reports.
• To be onsite at the Irancell warehouse to control the ongoing mechanism, do the inspections and validate device deliveries, and audit warehouse housekeeping.
• To prepare inspection and audit reports for newly delivered ITS assets to detect unauthorized changes impacting CMDB accuracy.
• To check and analyze the service impact of major issues based on CMDB information.
