Job Description

• Carry out Network Technology and security audits and investigate across core, radio, and transmission domain including both operation and planning team and various functional areas within MTNIRANCELL • Performing and reporting applications, systems, security, and infrastructures audit based on Audit and Risk methodologies. • Assess the risks inherent in the company’s network technology and recommend measures to mitigate them. • Plan and conduct telecom network reviews based on the annual A&R audit plan and the MTN Internal Audit methodology. • Review the integration of the telecom network to the company’s infrastructure and advise the company on its effectiveness and optimizations. • Monitor the operation of identified controls and recommendations on an ongoing basis in the telecom NWG domain. • Identify the significant Network Technology risks associated with the company’s strategic objectives. • Provide input into the overall annual audit plan according to the strategic objectives and the associated risks. • Ensure business compliance to audit methodology and laid down standards and make recommendations where changes are required. • Advise management on issues (findings) pertaining to risk management, internal controls, and corporate governance processes. • Report on a regular basis to the manager on the progress with regard to internal audit assignments. • Perform regular follow-ups on the status of outstanding Network Technology Audit recommendations. • Perform related management ad-hoc requests for technology audits timely and accurately.
