Job Description

The main purpose of the job: Supply Chain (SC) Planning is the main steering wheel to monitor and adapt the processes in the supply chain to balance demand & supply in the most cost effective way and maximize performance and customer service satisfaction. You as Supply Chain Planning Manager are responsible for both the demand and supply processes and has to comply with the Logistics rules, standards and procedures applicable for the area of Supply Chain Planning. Responsibilities: - Manages the supply chain planning process, including aligning the various supply chain plans and managing information flows related to the SC planning process. - Ensures required (optimal) levels of supply chain planning parameters (such as required customer service levels, target stock levels, OPI) are defined, communicated and commonly applied, in cooperation with relevant stakeholders. - Ensures the right trade-off is made between customer service, product availability, production capacity and inventory levels, taking into account cost impacts and balancing quality and time/effort.
