Senior QA Engineer

Job Description

Bimeh Bazar started its journey in [2016] with the aim of creating a great experience in online insurance consultation, comparison, and purchase. Responsibilities:

Take end-to-end ownership of release quality for our web and API systems.
Design high-level test strategies and detailed test plans for new features and complex workflows.
Execute manual testing for functional, regression, and exploratory scenarios.
Review requirements critically and surface potential gaps early in the SDLC.
Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other QA engineers.

Contribute to process improvements and prepare the ground for future test automation initiatives.



Requirements:

Quality Ownership – You take full responsibility for what’s shipped and proactively identify risks.
Test Strategy & Execution – You design thorough, prioritized test plans and execute them effectively.

Critical Thinking & Communication – You spot edge cases, ask the right questions, and communicate clearly across teams.



Must-Haves
3+ years in QA roles with significant web and API testing experience.
Proven track record of owning release quality in complex systems.
Strong understanding of SDLC and QA best practices.
Hands-on experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman).
Ability to write clear, structured test cases and defect reports.
Comfortable working in fast-paced environments and balancing thoroughness with delivery.



Nice-to-Haves
Exposure to test automation concepts and CI/CD environments.
Experience in domains like insurance, finance, or other complex systems.
