Job Description
Participate in planning activities for the Exploration and Production (E&P) Division, monitor and control project and operational performance, plan and control costs, and follow up on financial obligations and receivables to support the achievement of the division’s operational and financial objectives.
Key Responsibilities and Duties:
• Participate in developing and following up on the strategic and operational plans of the Exploration and Production Division, as well as planning and monitoring the progress of new investment opportunities.
• Collect, compile, analyze, and maintain information, statistics, documents, and approvals related to planning activities and projects within the Exploration and Production Division.
• Monitor and control the progress of the Exploration and Production project portfolio and prepare consolidated and management reports on project status.
• Develop, implement, and monitor procedures and performance indicators for the project portfolio and update the project progress measurement system.
• Control work packages, project portfolio changes, and contractual documentation, and participate in preparing contract amendments and appendices.
• Receive, review, and analyze performance reports from various units and prepare and submit management reports to the Executive Deputy.
• Participate in preparing the budgets of the Exploration and Production subsidiaries, planning and controlling their costs, and preparing performance-based cash flow management reports.
• Coordinate with the Executive Deputy, Finance, and Treasury functions regarding budget allocations, follow-up on receivables and settlement of obligations, and review and record suppliers’ invoices.
Technical Knowledge and Skills:
• Familiarity with project economic feasibility assessment methods.
• Proficiency in cost planning and cost control.
• Proficiency in planning and controlling EPC and EPD projects.
• Proficiency in project-related contractual concepts and terminology.
• Proficiency in inventory control, resource allocation, and resource follow-up to achieve project objectives.
• Familiarity with reservoir evaluation, cost estimation, and valuation of oil projects.
• Proficiency in PMBOK processes and professional project management principles.
Job Requirements:
• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering.
• Experience: Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in the oil and gas industry.
• English Proficiency: Upper-intermediate or higher.
