Job Description
● Analyze, implement, test, and document software changes according to the full software development lifecycle, for delivery of complex charging-related software from concept through to delivery to end customer. ● Issue resolution involving a large legacy codebase ● Provide technical leadership, where required to less experienced engineers within the team. ● Adhere to and promote quality initiatives within the group. ● Agree, define functional interfaces and liaise with test, support, product, and project management groups as well as personnel at other company sites; so good personal communication skills are required.
Requirements
● Database programming experience (preferably MySQL or Oracle). ● Database programming experience (Cassandra). ● Fluent in C++ (a must). ● Multithreaded programming experience. ● Fluent in designing database-modeling databases for RDBMS and (or) Cassandra. ● Fluent in performance tuning, and debugging of databases for large deployments (Oracle or MySQL, or Cassandra). ● Fluent in Unix shell scripting. ● Fluent in database client/server interface. ● Experience in the development of enterprise applications preferably in the telecom OSS and BSS domain. ● Experience in Git and debugging tools. ● Quick learner with strong initiative and technical ream leadership capabilities. ● Strong English is written and verbal communication skills. ● Ability to adapt to the changing needs of a project. ● Ability to meet deadlines. ● Willingness to undertake foreign travel where necessary. ● Multicultural working experience. ● Proven capability in MS Excel with respect to test planning and tracking.
