Job Description
- Responsible for all deliverables within the Control and Instrumentation (C&I) discipline as Technical Authority level 2 for the project - Responsible for quality control of the C&I discipline during the engineering, construction and commissioning phases. - Prepare scope of work and CTRs input for C&I engineering discipline - Prepare design basis for C&I discipline, generate conceptual options and define functional requirements for ICSS and Fire and gas detection systems - Evaluate and select technologies for ICSS - Manage external contractors in C&I design related matters and ensure delivery of quality documentation
Requirements
- Minimum of 8 years professional experience in the oil & gas and energy business and international experience in on-/ off shore operated ventures - Top level detail knowledge about C&I systems and components, design, and operation of C&I systems including hands-on experience. - Experience and ability to lead Hazops/Hazids is beneficial. - Experience working both on Customer and Contractor roles is preferred. - In depth knowledge of international and industry standards (EN, ATEX, NFPA, API,..) - Experience working in multi-disciplinary teams - Willing to travel to foreign countries in which OMV has or might operate Branch Offices - Ability to work in an international multi-cultural environment. - Ability to multi-task and work on several projects simultaneously. - Demonstrating self initiative. - Fluent command of English. - High personal commitment to HSE.
