Job Description
General: We are interested in hiring an experienced engineer for our international operations. ITA's international operations is under the management of Utility Information Systems (the number one SCADA/Telecom/Automation player in Oman). The job location is Muscat, Oman. Design, configure, test and commission SCADA/RTU with an emphasis on ABB RTU's. In the rare case you may need to carry out Telecommunication/SAS work.
Requirements
- Excellent Knowledge of English Language (verbal, Writing) - Three years experience in SCADA system (Field side) - Good knowledge of SCADA system (Being informed about different protocols, different implementations…) - Excellent knowledge about SCADA system site adaptation (Interface panel, Transducer, Multifunction meters, Interpose Relays) and understanding related schematics - Capable of doing modification to SCADA adaption circuits (Testing the transducers and Interpose relays, replacing faulty equipment) - Good Knowledge on ABB RTU - Basic knowledge of Substation Automation/Control system (SAS) - Capable of doing modification to SAS system under guidance of an SAS expert (replacing BCU, Gateway, servers, performing tests and backups…) - Customer- oriented - Great Team player character
