Job Description
Sales and marketing director is responsible for planning and implementing sales, marketing and business development programs, both short term and long term, targeted toward existing and new markets for electrical distribution panels/switchgears. Key responsibilities: - Develops and implements strategic sales and marketing plans and forecasts to achieve corporate objectives for products and services. - Develops and recommends product positioning, packaging, and pricing strategy to produce the highest possible long-term market share. - Locates or proposes potential business deals by contacting potential partners; discovering and exploring new business opportunities. - Closes new business deals by coordinating requirements; developing and negotiating contracts; integrating contract requirements with business operations. - Maintains and expands distribution channels and market share by monitoring and coordinating performance of sales and marketing teams. - Establishes and adjusts selling prices by monitoring costs, competition, and supply and demand. - Sustains rapport with key accounts by making periodic visits; exploring specific needs; anticipating new opportunities. - Establishes and maintains relationships with customers and business partners. - Handles objections by clarifying, emphasizing agreements and working through differences to a positive conclusion. - Trains and supervises sales and marketing teams according to corporate objectives and requirements. Requirements
University qualifications : Business degree (engineering background is a plus) Previous experience : Minimum 5 years in related fields of industry Key Specialties : 1. Familiar with medium and low voltage distribution panels market including Oil and Gas, Steel and Mining sectors 2. Proficient in sales and marketing of MV and LV switchgears 3. Proficient in providing offers, participating in tenders, closing contracts and contract management 4. Experienced in design, cost estimation and financial analysis of electrical switchgears Recommended Skills : 1. Business acumen 2. Leadership skills 3. Strategic thinking 4. Problem solving 5.
