Job Description
• Actively seek out customers on the racetrack and in the aisles • Offer a friendly greeting, smile and make eye contact with the customers • As open ended questions about the customers’ interest in order to determined their needs and level of expertise • Show enthusiasm with the customer • When necessary, handle several customers at once • Answer questions about the products for the customers’ level of expertise • Describe the features and benefits of product • Cooperate with other associates when asked to help • Read daily, weekly, monthly sales reports • Know how the product stacks up to competition • Make decisions on markdowns when necessary to satisfy customer • Execute daily stock maintenance • Ensure that aisle, boutique and counter promotions are clean, presentable and in stock
Requirements
• Bachelor’s or similar degree in commerce, sales or related field as retail • At least 1-2 years of experience in a related field • Good knowledge in Microsoft Office software • Must have B2B sales track record • Background or knowledge of marketing would be an advantage • Background or knowledge of retail would be an advantage • Background or knowledge of account management would be an advantage • Background or knowledge of CRM would be an advantage • Strong Selling skills • Good command of written and spoken English • Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills
