Job Description

Your new role
As a Regulatory Affairs and Pharmacovigilance Manager, you will:
• Lead and implement the affiliate regulatory strategy in alignment with International Operations (IO) and Headquarters (HQ) requirements.
• Provide regulatory support to internal and external stakeholders, acting as a liaison with IO and HQ.
• Ensure timely registration of new products and lifecycle management in line with local and global regulations.
• Act as the Local Qualified Person (QP), ensuring full compliance with local regulatory requirements.
• Secure compliant “release into the market” approvals.
• Serve as the primary contact with the Iranian Food and Drug Administration (IFDA), ensuring legal, medical, and promotional compliance.
• Define regulatory submission strategies and ensure implementation of new local pharmacovigilance requirements.

Your new department
You will be part of the Clinical, Medical, and Regulatory (CMR) department, a cornerstone of Novo Nordisk’s operations. Our team is dedicated to ensuring regulatory compliance and patient safety while driving the approval of new drugs, devices, and digital health solutions.

Your skills & qualifications
To succeed in this role, we are looking for candidates with the following qualifications:
• Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D) degree is required.
• 8–10 years of experience in regulatory affairs and pharmacovigilance, preferably including contract and/or local manufacturing exposure; business development experience is an advantage.
• Minimum of 5 years of people management experience.
• Experience working within an international organization is considered an asset.
• Fluency in English with strong communication skills, enabling effective interaction with both internal and external stakeholders.
