Job Description

  • Implement project quality plans, quality strategies, and objectives.
  • Provide technical knowledge of all stationary equipment, including coordinating with mechanical, operation, and project teams to solve problems for modification, repairing, and ensuring the equipment meets standard codes and corporate regulations.
  • Plan/partake in internal projects and contractors audits.
  • Generates reports of conditions found during inspection activities, notifies operations and QA/QC management of significant problems, and completes documentation necessary to attest to the satisfactory completion of inspection or test activities.
  • Conduct site quality leadership surveillance visits.
  • Act as a focal point for corrective actions by implementing new actions and verifying action closure.
  • Capture and monitor resulting improvement actions.
  • Ensure the completion of the task to control the quality of spare parts/materials, works/services performed, and monitors the activities of the company's operation division's departments on site to ensure compliance of works/services with requirements, as corporate as well as customer established in discipline field, etc.
  • Review and provide input into WSR preparation/evaluation.
  • Review and comment on the necessary maintenance/service Contractor’s documentation including ITP and procedure.
  • Monitor all quality-related activities on site.
  • Control and distribution of all the corporate quality documentation on site.
  • Perform all internal and external audits on behalf of the company’s management.
  • Verify that quality requirements are specified in vendor's/contractor's documentation submittals.
  • Perform QA/QC appropriate meetings with the contractor.
  • Attend contractor's quality management meetings.
  • Supervise, and coordinate with 3rd party inspectors of NDT and destructive tests including being the witness for the test and providing appropriate reports to Operation/Maintenance/Inspection teams according to standards, codes, and internal company regulations.
  • Review and verify pre-invoice docs from 3rd party inspection contractors.
  • Liaise with the contractor's quality representative as appropriate.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience within the Oil or Gas industry; 4 years of experience as a technical inspection engineer/specialist.
  • Technical knowledge of quality assurance/quality control, inspections, Non-Destructive Examination (NDE) techniques, metallurgy and welding, metallic and non-metallic materials, and corrosion protection.
  • CWI is preferable.
  • Intermediate English level.
