Job Description
Responsibilities:
• Develop, implement, and maintain QA/QC policies and procedures to ensure design compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Lead QA/QC activities across multiple projects, ensuring all engineering deliverables meet established quality standards.
• Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement and ensure adherence to QA/QC requirements.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance on QA/QC matters to engineering teams and other stakeholders.
• Review and approve project documentation, including quality plans, inspection and test plans, and quality control procedures.
• Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors to uphold quality standards throughout the supply chain.
• Investigate and resolve quality-related issues, implementing corrective and preventive actions as necessary.
• Prepare and present QA/QC reports to senior management (HSEQ Manager), highlighting key metrics and areas of concern.
• Stay informed about the latest trends and advancements in QA/QC practices and incorporate them into company processes.
• Lead the development and enhancement of metrics, reporting mechanisms, and processes to ensure performance, compliance, and asset integrity align with business needs.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field (Mechanical Engineering or …)
• Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in QA/QC
• Oil and Gas industry experience
• Comprehensive knowledge of QA/QC standards, methodologies, and best practices
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency with QA/QC software and tools
• Experience with ISO 9001, ASME, API or similar quality standards
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry standards
• Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Skill in identifying technical gaps and developing solutions
