Job Description

  • Developing and implementing purchasing strategies, as well as associated supportive plans.
  • Analyzing industry trends and purchasing demand while considering the strategies defined in the organization.
  • Performing necessary activities to establish and maintain effective relationships with existing and new suppliers.
  • Tracking and monitoring supplier performance, resolving issues, and initiating improvements to drive operational excellence.
  • Preparing and consolidating data to support operational decisionmaking or activity-planning.

Requirements

  • At least 8 to 10 years of purchasing management experience.
  • Experience in managing relationships with suppliers through interactive communication.
  • Extensive purchasing knowledge in the vehicle and automotive industry is a significant advantage.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Possessing an analytical mindset along with a good vision about anticipation and prevention of supply shortfalls.
  • Fluency in English is a must.
