Job Description

- To provide assistance to project management team in terms of all HSE related matters - To demonstrate leadership in health and safety issues, ensuring that the Lesaffre International standards are applied during the project period - Conducting daily safety visits in the project area as inspections and audits, following up on the effective implementation and closure of associated corrective/remedial actions - Managing contractor’s risks, implement prevention risks study for each new project. - Effective usage of both internal and legally required accident reporting; investigation; analysis and corrective action to prevent injuries and losses within the project - To prepare, update and revise the safety system, risk assessments and emergencies plan according to the Lesaffre standards, rules or local regulations - Conducts “safety tool box” and all necessary training sessions with the workers - Ensures that all work permits are secured during the implementation of the projects. - Coordinates with the Project Manager and Safety Coordinator on matters related to safety - Work with the Project Manager to generate weekly/monthly progress reports and presentations - Organize the safety committee meetings according to the local requirement. - Measure and record the KPIs of Lesaffre Group. - Report directly to the project manager and functionnaly to MECA safety coordinator. - Ensure that there is a coordination with IMCO and the same safety policies are applied
