Job Overview:
The PM will be part of a high-performing team dedicated to supporting project teams through collaboration and a best-for-project vision. This role oversees construction and engineering projects from initial proposal development to completion. This role involves leading competitive bidding processes, negotiating commercial terms, and managing supplier and contractor relationships. The candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and cost-effective project completion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the preparation, analysis, and submission of Requests for Proposals (RFPs), quotations, and tenders.
- Maintain and update documents and records databases.
- Manage cross-functional teams through competitive bidding and negotiation processes.
- Source and evaluate sub-contractors and suppliers to ensure quality and reliability.
- Monitor material and service costs, analyzing trends to make informed sourcing decisions.
- Maintain regular communication with clients, suppliers, sub-contractors, and stakeholders of multi-disciplinary project teams to resolve issues and align expectations.
- Achieve departmental Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and project milestones.
- Coordinate with multiple stakeholders to provide technical aspects and project management support, including cost, schedule, and risk management, and coordinate all scope and project changes.
- Prepare various status reports for the manager and perform related administrative duties as assigned to meet project requirements and commitments.
