Job Description

-Atlas Copco business has to substantially grow in Iran in terms of volume and complexity. To achieve business targets with reference to growth, it has been decided to modify the Organization structure for projects business with following objectives. -Customer Satisfaction -Competence Development of resources -Growth in Market Share -Better Divisional and product focus -We have introduced this new position to mentor and grow sustainable projects business. In view of the same, we are now looking for a dynamic person to shoulder the responsibility of Project Sales. In this role, Project engineer will be responsible to provide a high quality and efficient service by anticipating and responding to customers queries and interact with the manufacturing team @ factory as and when required. -Responsibilities: -Manage order execution, achieving client satisfaction in terms of delivery and technical requirements -Provide customer service by anticipating and responding to customer queries -Manage and motivate all resources allocated to the project, therefore enabling a successful completion -Prepare and supply documentation as required within the contract. -Be responsible for the project engineering support of various projects from conceptual and detailed design stage through engineering, production, performance testing and dispatch to customer -Execute project Engineering support activates to various projects -Act as main coordination link between customer and Systems -Address material and schedule concerns with customer and Systems -Be responsible for proper review and processing of variations and claims received from customer and factory -Provide input of cost estimates if requested during bidding of projects -Manage budget, procurement, and schedules for the projects handled -Manage a given project within the costs allocated without escalation & create avenues to save costs wherever possible -Coordinate and participate in formal design and engineering reviews technical and commercial impact by customer and by factory -Keep management posted on the project status -As required evaluate sub vendors, carry out and/r support audit processes, prepare comparative statements for sub vendors -Monitor the overall progress of projects against schedule and milestones reporting to management, as well as providing early warning of potential slippage, in case of the latter; propose remedial actions so that the contract completion data for the work is not jeopardized

Requirements

-Degree in Engineering-Process, Instrumentation/ Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering with corresponding experience in the industry preferably in oil & gas/power sectors -At least 5 years’ Experience in Oil & Gas, Power Plant or Steel Industries in Rotating/Packaged Equipment’s in Engineering Departments (Engineering Consultants, EPC or End Users) -Proven Speech and Pretension Skills in both English and Persian Language -Proven Experience as a contract or project management -Knowledge and practical experience of software including drafting techniques (including CAD, MS office, Windows, Lotus Notes, MS Projects) -Excellent Interpersonal skills -Effective communication skills -Ability to plan and organize effectively -Must be able to read pneumatic/hydraulic flow diagrams and general arrangement drawings -Understanding of electrical drawings -Willing to Travel as required to customer office, Construction sites -Familiar with: -Knowledge and Experience of Autocad or equivalent Packages is a requirement -Piping Systems, Plant 3D Modeling and Piping Software’s -Rotating/Packaged Equipment’s control system and instrumentation -P&ID, Data Sheets and other required Vendor Prints development -QC documents development related to Rotating/Packaged Equipments
