Job Description

Objective of the role: Directly supervise and coordinate the activities of production and operating workers, such as inspectors, precision workers, machine setters and operators, assemblers, fabricators, and plant and system operators.. List of responsibilities: Participation in Production Planning and Organization 1- Plan and establish work schedules, assignments, and production sequences to meet production goals. 2- Inspect materials, products, or equipment to detect defects or malfunctions. 3- Assigns tasks to employees according to their skills. 4- Makes sound recommendations to improve productivity, solutions to issues affecting quality and health and safety. 5- Rearranges production sequences according to planning needs. 6- Keeps deadlines. 7- Efficiently manages priorities. Production Follow-up Activities 1- Diligently verifies availability of inventory, delivery and release dates of raw materials, components and product compliance. 2- Carefully plans interventions on equipment or in production areas. 3- Ensures equipment start-ups within required timelines. 4- Ensures equipment availability. 5- Ensures compliance of production lines, equipment and premises. 6- Meticulously verifies documentation and work quality. 7- Approves critical production steps. 8- Accurately measures performance throughout work shifts. 9- Carefully verifies corrections to problems. 10- Ensures quality of production is maintained in keeping with costs and schedules. 11- Properly monitors compliance with prevailing standards as well as any workplace accident or incident. 12- Safely manages waste and residual materials. Management of Production Employees 1- Objectively describes work tasks, regulatory requirements, company policies, and expectations. 2- Supports the team in order to meet objectives and established schedules. 3- Mobilizes employees to maintain and improve processes and performances. 4- Plans and facilitates team meetings. 5- Appropriately reassigns employees according to needs. 6- Sets realistic short- and medium-term schedules. 7- Objectively evaluates employee performance. 9- Makes relevant recommendations on achieving performance standards. 10- Develops and monitors employee development plans. 11- Develops, administers and monitors remedial action plan for poor performers, if applicable. Requirements

University Qualifications: BS of Mechanical Engineering. Other certifications obtained: outlook, excel and Power point. Nature and length of previous experience: At least 3 Years of Supervisory experience and 7 years of experience in Food or similar manufacturing companies.. Specialist knowledge: production management, Human Resources management. .
