Job Description

• Develop and manage the implementation of production and maintenance plans in line with the annual production budget • Ensure that annual production targets and preventative maintenance scheduling are achieved • Lead and inspire the processing department; engaging the team in a clear vision and strategy, setting clear aligned accountabilities for direct reports; effective performance planning and reviews; development and training of your employees • Ensure that lost time due to unplanned stoppages is minimized through effective plant reliability and efficient maintenance activity •Technical development and optimisation of the processing plant (lead and zinc flotation plant) through continuous improvement and innovation • Support the site team in the development and implementation of long term strategic planning • Prepare and manage an annual Process and Maintenance budget, including recommendations for replacement capital expenditure • Assist with the implementation of optimisation and expansion projects as appropriate • Maintain a positive attitude towards safety in the work place and increase safety awareness, implement safety training and promotions and set an example for others
