Job description:
Straumann Product Manager will report directly to Head of Marketing and Education, this position develops products by identifying potential products; conducting market research; generating product requirements; determining specifications, pricing, and time-integrated plans for product introduction; developing marketing strategies. Product Manager directly manages the life cycle of the product portfolio, updates competitive tools, supports customer and product analysis, market research, and assists in developing and executing promotional activities on an as needed basis.
Major responsibilities:
● Managing the continuous improvement of product launch and promotion process.
● Having in-depth knowledge of the portfolio and products.
● Managing the life cycle of the surgical and prosthetic line as well as biomaterials of Straumann.
● Supporting new product launches and provide regular reports to the sales team as needed.
● Maintaining competitive intelligence.
● Interacting with sales, marketing, customer service, finance, headquarters, and other functions to ensure cross-functional alignment
● Measuring success of marketing activities through customer surveys, internal data analysis or by other means.
● Supporting the sales team and customers with troubleshooting questions concerning surgical, prosthetic, etc.
