The Position
At Novo Pars, we are looking for a Procurement Professional who will help ensure the reliable and compliant supply of goods and services required for our manufacturing operations in Iran.
In this role, you will be responsible for operational procurement activities across both direct and indirect spend categories. You will work closely with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to ensure timely purchasing, efficient order management, and continuous improvement of procurement processes. Your contribution will directly support our manufacturing operations and our mission of driving change to defeat serious chronic diseases.
The Site Tehran is located in Barkat Pharmaceutical Industrial City, Alborz Province and went into operation in 2020 and has 160 employees in total. The manufacturing site handles the assembly and packaging production of Novo FlexPen® sold in Iran with modern insulins.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage the end-to-end Purchase-to-Pay (P2P) process for local and imported purchases.
• Receive and process purchase requests, obtain quotations, and issue purchase orders.
• Track purchase orders and monitor supplier performance to ensure timely deliveries.
• Coordinate shipment and delivery activities with suppliers and logistics partners.
• Support ERP and MRP-related procurement activities while ensuring compliance with company policies and business ethics standards.
• Monitor local market trends and contribute to supplier sourcing and approval processes.
• Participate in cost optimization and continuous improvement initiatives across procurement operations.

About You
To succeed in this role, you have:
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Procurement, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Procurement, Purchasing, Supply Chain, Export/Import, or a similar role within a highly regulated industry.
• Solid understanding of operational procurement processes and supplier management.
• Experience working with ERP systems and procurement automation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively across functions and build productive stakeholder relationships.
• Strong communication skills and a proactive, accountable approach to work.
• Professional proficiency in written and spoken English.
