Job Description
• Supervising the metallurgy production targets and providing technical input into the optimization of plant throughput, recovery and concentrator grade performance. • Analysis of ores through test work and mineralogical assessments to determine processing constraints (and solutions) or opportunities to increase value obtained from the ore. • Working with Plant Metallurgists and Metallurgical Technicians in monitoring and recording of plant performance; • Controlling operating costs and metallurgical accounting systems and reporting.
Requirements
• Minimum Master degree in Metallurgy, Mineral Processing or Chemical engineering • An excellent understanding of Lead & Zinc Ore extraction and ore processing. • Demonstrate sound experience in base metals production within a comparable processing environment. • Most importantly, you'll have significant experience with mineralogical assessment tools and testwork methods, including future ores testwork programs and must be able to effectively gather and disseminate information in a cross functional capacity and communicate results to a varied audience. • Must have strong experience with Microsoft Excel, Access and Word.
