Job Description
- Extreme Walls is looking for a Planning Manager to lead its planning team and work closely with Sales, Procurement, Production and Warehouse teams to develop and monitor operational plans, improve product availability, manage inventory levels and coordinate supply chain planning.
This role requires the ability to analyze sales, inventory and performance data, anticipate future requirements and follow plans through to execution.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and monitor annual, quarterly and monthly plans aligned with approved business objectives.
Analyze sales trends, demand patterns and seasonality to forecast product requirements and update supply and inventory plans.
Plan inventory levels and establish and review safety stock, reorder points and minimum and maximum stock levels with relevant teams.
Develop supply plans and recommend order quantities and timing based on demand forecasts, usable inventory, open orders and replenishment lead times.
Coordinate Sales, Procurement, Production and Warehouse teams to align demand, supply and delivery plans and resolve planning gaps.
Monitor shortages, excess inventory and slow-moving items, and recommend actions to improve inventory turnover and reduce working capital tied up in stock.
Track supply and delivery performance, identify delays and shortage risks, and develop contingency plans with responsible teams.
Define and monitor measures such as forecast accuracy, inventory turnover, stock coverage, stockout rates and supply plan adherence.
Monitor departmental objectives and performance indicators, analyze variances and follow up on corrective actions and cross-functional projects.
Develop management dashboards and reports, and improve planning processes and ERP data quality in collaboration with relevant teams.
Manage and develop a team of two planning specialists, ensuring accurate and timely deliverables.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Management or a related field.
At least 5 years of relevant experience in inventory, demand, supply or supply chain planning, including at least 2 years leading teams or cross-functional projects.
Hands-on experience in demand forecasting, inventory control, replenishment planning and lead time analysis.
Working knowledge of safety stock, reorder points, ABC classification and slow-moving inventory management.
Ability to develop operational plans, define performance indicators and analyze results and variances.
Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in Power BI or comparable analytics and reporting tools.
Experience working with ERP systems and sales, inventory and procurement data.
Strong analytical and systems thinking, attention to data accuracy, and effective prioritization and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and cross-functional coordination skills, with consistent follow-through.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in manufacturing, trading or distribution businesses with a broad product portfolio.
Familiarity with Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) and Material Requirements Planning (MRP).
Practical experience using AI tools to support analysis, reporting and productivity.
