
Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Network Support Specialist (Email Server) to manage, maintain, and troubleshoot the company’s email infrastructure. The ideal candidate will ensure the stability, security, and optimal performance of email servers and related network systems. This role involves close collaboration with IT teams to diagnose issues, implement solutions, and support users in resolving email-related problems.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot email servers (e.g., Microsoft Exchange, SMTP/IMAP/POP3 services).
Configure and manage email security tools including spam filters, anti-virus gateways, and authentication protocols (SPF, DKIM, DMARC).
Provide technical support for email clients (Outlook, mobile email apps, webmail).
Diagnose and resolve email delivery issues, latency problems, and server errors.
Manage user accounts, distribution lists, and mailbox permissions.
Implement backup and recovery processes for email data.
Ensure compliance with security policies and industry best practices.
Collaborate with network and system administrators for infrastructure improvements.
Prepare technical documentation and maintain incident logs.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Proven experience in managing and supporting email server environments.
Strong understanding of networking protocols (DNS, TCP/IP, SMTP).
Experience with Exchange Server or other enterprise email platforms.
Familiarity with Windows Server or Linux-based email systems.
Problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
