Job Description

Manages network security including monitoring and administrating security updates, patches and other preventive measures Responsible for firewall configuration & maintenance, monitoring and updating malware prevention systems, performing intrusion detection analysis Performs security assessments and reviews networking initiatives for security compliance Prepares status reports on security issues; develops security risk analysis scenarios and response procedures Evaluates and recommends security products for various platforms in the networking environment Analyzes existing network and system procedures for efficiency and effectiveness. Analyzes and defines disaster recovery responsibilities and procedures Develops policies and procedures designed to ensure the integrity of local area network or wide area network environments Functions as Information Security Officer Coordinates and/or participates in the development and execution of enterprise level strategies and technical direction, including establishing processes and procedures for developing, executing and maintaining technology and security roadmaps Researches and analyzes security threat indicators and their behaviors, and recommends threat mitigation strategies. Develops information security procedures and guidelines Provides input into the preparation of budget recommendations for network facilities. Complies with all policies and procedures Performs related work as assigned
