Job Description

● Perform monitoring, threat hunting alerting, and report on malicious activities or activities of interest and act as the first point of contact. ● Create and manage IT processes such as incident detection, incident response, incident containment, and escalation to the appropriate department. ● Create IT and security policies for clients based on their business needs. ● Maintain a thorough understanding of corporate internet services (DNS, Security, IP Routing, HTTP, VPN, Email Routing, SPAM, etc.). ● Configure and support Cisco Firewalls, Enterprise Switches, Wireless Access Points, and Security Appliances to access vital business applications. ● Configure and support FortiGate firewalls. ● Coordinate with other departments to manage and administer the updating of rules and signatures across the information security stack (e.g., intrusion detection or protection systems, anti-virus, and content blacklists. ● Configure and support virtualization environments like Vmware.
