Job Description

•To manage MTNIrancell rollout contractors and vendors from quality perspective to ensure all involved parties deliver projects in accordance to the company acceptance criteria of roll out quality standards, •To arrange weekly quality meetings with all related vendors and ensure issues are resolved. •To ensure MTNIrancell roll out Quality Management (QM) PPPs are in line with International Standards and latest trends •To ensure that the regional QA engineers oversee that the BTS structures are build and maintained according to MTN Irancell maintenance requirements. •To ensure full cooperation and support of the National maintenance manager to have QA support in evaluation of tenders, defining Statement of Work (SoW) of maintenance projects, sample visits, and project acceptance visits •To collect and conduct root cause analysis on regional QA and regional operation managers’ feedback and reporting the same in order to improve the overall network infrastructure and associated network quality standards •To ensure that the regional QA staff follow the transmission link acceptance requirements and highlight any major issues to the transmission department for resolution •To ensure administrative documentation and databases are correctly completed or updated, accurately and timeously on a national level •To support regional QA team leaders regarding the draft/update Radio Operation and Management (O&M) tool and ensure implementation of procedures and guidelines of QA •To provide detailed and combined regional reports on a national level, to management as per requirements on a weekly/monthly basis •To coordinate and guide the acceptance and rollout of a high quality network by managing the rollout and identifying priorities based on clusters, towns or other high priority rollout requirements on a national level •To visit all regions and conduct random site inspections based on vendor and contractor build and physical site acceptance schedules •To oversee and validate all QA engineers reports and assure accuracy and comprehensiveness of generated reports/visits •To drive, project manage and supervise contractors ensuring due dates and quality are strictly adhered to •To manage regional site build/upgrade rollout •To ensure that all HSE requirements are adhered to •To manage and optimise performance of any outsourced QA team

Requirements

Education: •Bachelor’s Degree in Technology Systems (Telecommunication Management / Information Technology) or a related discipline •Electrical degree or equivalent is preferred •Fluent in English Experience: •Minimum of 5 years’ experience in an area of specialisation; with experience in supervising/managing others •Experience working in a medium to large organization •Quality Assurance/management field with GSM experience is preferred •Experience in managing civil, electrical, RF, Telecoms and sub-contractors is preferred
