Job Description
Key Performance Elements/Essential Functions:
• Identifies key goals, objectives, or outcome of the marketing strategy
• Identifies audience and appropriate media
• Coordinates the design, production, and writing of marketing material
• Analyzes effectiveness of marketing material
• Manages allocation of resources and budget for producing marketing material
• Instructs concept development and layout for design of marketing material
• Trains/educates staff on effective use of marketing materials
• Monitors inventory of marketing materials (and take action as required)
• Measures return on investment for marketing activities (ROI)
• Identifies and develops contingency plans and potential product / service exit communication strategy [if required]
• Effectively manages resources (people, time and budget)
• Tracks and monitors project progress and develop project work plans
• Identifies and develops relationships with vendors & suppliers
• Project management
• Supervises RFP protocol process including soliciting RFPs from desirable prospective vendors and writing proposals for new marketing initiatives; participate in planning and presentation sessions, when assigned.
• Oversees Bagro’s electronic marketing efforts including supervision of Web site design and maintenance
• Supervises subordinates as required, ensuring that they are working successfully within their role, while developing their individual skill base
• Ensures messaging and labeling is accurate and complies with all relevant laws
