Job Description

Reporting to the Marketing Manager and General Manager, the Market Research Assistant will be responsible for providing high quality market analysis. She/he will be contributing to our market intelligence service, providing analytical research and educated forecasts for internal and external decision makers. She/he will develop in depth knowledge of the specific sectors covered by Mehrock, such as FMCG, Internet, Energy, Tourism & Hospitality. She/he might also handle operational tasks of the office, including but not limited to providing guidance to visiting foreign clients and investors. The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited, to the below: • Support the Marketing Manager and Country Manager in planning, designing and implementing business intelligence solutions and reports that include competitor and product information, financial/market data to be delivered to external stakeholders. • Drive the collection of market information via primary and secondary research on a variety of industries, such as FMCG, Internet, Energy, Tourism & Hospitality. • Lead the development of quantitative approaches to market estimation, forecasting and segmentation, to analyze, evaluate and validate data collected. • Prepare competitor, market intelligence report and business plans by sourcing, creating and maintaining up-to-date content. • Produce company specific analysis, researching and examining financial data, company strategy and key company developments • Develop excellent analysis skills and become an expert in the industries of interest of the company and effectively communicate analysis to the senior management. • Support the team by building a compelling business case for new product developments. • Provide and maintain up-to-date information on industry and country level news, regulations and trends

Requirements

• Bachelor academic level by a recognized and reputable institution, Master degree is a plus • A business or marketing degree is preferable but not necessary • 1-3 years of work experience as an Analyst • Highly analytical and strong in problem solving skills • Foreign working and/or studying experience with preference in a multinational company. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to summarize complex information and make it clearly understandable to a wide audience • Team player comfortable working in a multicultural environment. Ego, to be left at home. • Discreet, trustworthy and humble • Highly skilled with Word, Excel and PowerPoint • Fluent in both English and Farsi written and spoken any other language would be a plus. • Available immediately.
