
Job Description
● As a member of the program core team, he/she is responsible for all the manufacturing aspects of the program. ● Study, develop in detail, validate, release, and set-up the complete Production System of the program: equipment and tool interfaces (with the support of the process planner), JIT window, layout, process flow charts, material, and information flow diagram in accordance with the group standards and program objectives. ● Achieve all manufacturing program objectives (Quality, costs, delivery, performance) such as process and machine capabilities, MPM, PPM, and scrap rate. ● Oversee and insure design for assembly processes are implemented to meet quality, cost, and ergonomic targets. ● Coordinate work package tasks for which she/he is in charge of and ensure their accomplishment. ● In agreement with the program manager, technical interface with the customer and the suppliers. ● Ensure manufacturing feasibility. ● Oversee overall JIT systems and equipment implementation and launch phase ● Support the production ramp-up. ● Implement all changes related to the production system and/or related to the product (as of Engineering Change Management). ● Report all manufacturing risks analysis and their associated action plans and opportunities. ● Ensure the interface between the program core team and the plant(s). ● Apply program management system and engineering change Management and Faurecia tools and standards. ● Ensure that manufacturing functional milestones are passed successfully and on time.
Requirements
● At least Bachelor's degree in engineering. ● 3 to 5 years of experience in a JIT plant of the automotive seating (Minimum 2 different positions such as process methods, production, or logistics). ● Trained in program management system and production system efficiency. ● AutoCAD, and MS Project experience. ● Leadership skills. ● Team player with strong communication skills. ● International mindset. ● Fluent in English.
