About the job:
The Local Purchasing Specialist is responsible for purchasing the raw materials, packaging, Marketing and Trade Marketing, as well as supporting the local purchasing team in daily operational tasks including order & invoice registration and Moadian system checks.
Responsibilities:
• Registering and recording purchase orders and invoices of the Local Purchasing team accurately and on time
• Checking and controlling invoices in the Moadian (Tax) system
• Ensuring compliance with internal P2P procedure and supplier selection policy in daily tasks
• Supporting Marketing and Trade Marketing purchasing activities: sending proposals, collecting quotations, and helping arrange meetings with agencies/suppliers
• Assisting in finding sources and coordinating samples required by the R&D team
• Following up non-conformities with suppliers and support Quality Control team by collecting/sending required documents
• Supporting the contract process by tracking drafts and following up status under Manager’s guidance
• Coordinating supplier visits and meetings (to our site or suppliers’ sites) as instructed, and
• Coordinating milk transportation arrangements as required
Requirements:
• Having a university degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain or related fields
• At least 2 years of practical and relevant experience (FMCG industry is a Plus)
Experience and knowledge:
• Familiarity with Moadian (Tax) system
• Basic knowledge of P2P process and supplier-related procedures
• MS Office (especially Excel)
• Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g. Rahkaran) is an advantage
