Job Description
Khodro45 is changing how people buy and sell used cars in Iran. Inspection, online auction, contract, and title transfer run across more than 90 branches in 28 cities. That scale creates real disputes, and a constant relationship with licensing bodies and quasi-judicial authorities.
We are hiring a senior manager to own both workstreams: the company’s litigation portfolio nationwide, and its governance relations.
Litigation
Own civil and criminal matters from case assessment and strategy through hearings, appeals, settlement, and closure.
Lead disputes arising from vehicle inspection, auctions, sale contracts, payment, title transfer, and defect or damage claims.
Bring focused action against fraud, document forgery, questionable vehicle histories, and misuse of the Khodro45 name.
Select, instruct, and review external counsel across cities, with consistent positions and control of quality, time, and cost.
Build a clear process for intake, evidence, assignment, tracking, and reporting.
Turn recurring cases into preventive changes for branches, support, product, and contracts.
Governance relations
Own the company’s relationship with the Ministry of Industry, Mine and Trade, the E-Commerce Development Center, the auto dealers’ union, the Consumer and Producer Protection Organization, the Governmental Discretionary Punishments Organization, traffic police, and other licensing bodies.
Keep licenses, permits, and branch operating requirements current.
Manage official inquiries, inspections, hearings, and written responses on time.
Track rules affecting used-car trade, e-commerce, and consumer protection, and turn them into clear risks and actions for leadership.
Keep internal decisions aligned with the company’s licenses and legal commitments.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Law. A master’s degree is an advantage.
- Active Grade-1 license to practice before Iranian courts.
- At least 7 years of legal practice, with substantial civil and criminal litigation experience.
- Experience taking matters from strategy to outcome, and working with judicial, quasi-judicial, or regulatory bodies.
- Strong command of civil and criminal procedure, contracts, and practical knowledge of e-commerce, consumer protection, fraud, and forgery matters.
- Precise legal writing, sound judgment, and the ability to manage several cases, stakeholders, and external counsel at once.
Preferred
In-house experience at a technology company, marketplace, retailer, or branch-based business.
Experience managing a litigation portfolio or external counsel.
Familiarity with vehicle title transfer, notaries, and inspection disputes.
Professional working English.
