Job Description

• Linux System Administration with experience in Storage and Network troubleshooting • Maintain and improve CI/CD scripts and build processes for code deployments via tools such as Jenkins, Hudson, or Bamboo, or Puppet/AWS Cloud Formation • Work with product managers to guide and refine requirements, and design next generation features. • Monitoring and optimizing performance for various services • Create elegant & scalable Infrastructures for millions of users, troubleshoot & triage problem reports as part of a 24x7x365 support rotation

Personal Qualities: • Start-Up Mentality • Familiarity with English • Drive to learning and constant self-improvement • Self-directed, confident, able to use best-practice development processes effectively • Looking for Linux gurus who can stand out and make a difference long term! Required Skills: • Strong Linux system administration and scripting skills. Passion for Linux and Open-Source • Strong foundation in Virtualization, IaaS, or Cloud. For example libvirt/KVM, VMWare, Xen • Experience with monitoring tools (Nagios, Zabbix) • Strong core RDBMS or NoSQL knowledge: PostgreSQL, MySQL, Mongo, Cassandra or similar • Experience with Web Services, GIT, Maven or Gradle • Experience in implementing architectures for large-scale web application systems • Expert knowledge in HTTP Headers, HTTPS load balancing, and web transactions. Nice to have: • Experienced with Cloud based systems, No-SQL databases, distributed scalable architecture, etc. • Experience in a fast-paced test-driven agile environment preferred
