The position:

As a legal manager, you will be responsible:

  • To ensure the achievement of business objectives in compliance with all relevant local and internal guidelines, procedures, laws, and regulations.
  • To review drafts and supporting with the negotiation of various contracts, agreements and other legal documents and assisting with keeping and improving all legal and compliance databases, including physical and electronic.
  • To manage, follow-up and collaborate with external legal counsels to seek advice in regard to the referred matters.
  • To be the point of contact for the authorities and to be present before local authorities as a “legal representative” of the company, if required and support departments in identifying legal risks and report the identified legal risks to the Compliance manager, implementation of risk preventive and control measures in alignment with the LC Director.
  • To ensure effective implementation and adherence to compliance and business ethics policies, strategies, and SOPs, providing high-quality business ethics training, refreshment, advice, and support to internal and external stakeholders and business partners, identifying business ethics risks and assisting the LC team for controlling the risks, preparing presentations and submit reports as may be required on Business Ethics and compliance issues and major risks, investigating and reporting Business Ethics breaches and other legal violations and ensuring proper action is taken.

Requirements

  • At least a Bachelor's degree in Law from an Iranian university.
  • 5 years of in-house working experience in multinational companies is preferred.
  • Working independently and being a dedicated team player focusing on results is crucial.
  • Full working proficiency in both oral and written English is essential.
