Responsibilities
- Legal Advisory: Provide expert and strategic legal advice to management on a variety of legal matters affecting the organization's operations and business.
- Contract Management: Draft, review, negotiate, and advise on the legal aspects of contracts, agreements, and other legal documents to ensure the company’s full legal rights.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements for the company’s operations, reducing the risk of legal challenges and sanctions.
- Dispute Resolution: Manage and oversee disputes and litigation involving the company, including liaising with external lawyers and advising on legal risks and strategies.
- Policy Development: Develop and implement corporate policies and procedures on legal and compliance matters.
- Intellectual Property: Manage the company’s intellectual property portfolio, including trademarks, patents, and copyrights.
- Corporate Governance: Advise on corporate governance practices and directors responsibilities, ensuring compliance with best practices and legal standards.
- Risk Management: Collaborate with other departments to identify and mitigate legal risks across the organization.
- Training: Provide training to company staff on legal risk and compliance.
