Job Description

With Cafe Bazaar expanding further, matters of legal nature will also increase in size and depth. As a leading player, Cafe Bazaar has a variety of legal requirements to meet. Specifically, there is a wide range of disputes to be settled before local courts and arbitration tribunals. Cafe Bazaar requires a certified professional lawyer to advise Cafe Bazaar in legal matters, perform legal research, prepare legal documents and represent Cafe Bazaar in criminal, civil, and employment-related proceedings. This is a full-time position. Responsibilities: ● Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of regulatory and legal environments, especially in the e-commerce and cyber-crime sector. ● Finding solutions to various issues and cases. ● Preparing and revising memoranda as required. ● Performing other tasks as assigned or required. ● Ensuring proper documentation is always in place, and archiving all assigned cases’ materials and related correspondence. Requirements

● Bachelor’s degree in Law or higher qualification. ● Bar certification. ● A minimum of 2 years of experience as an in-house counsel or attorney at law engaged in relevant civil, criminal, employment-related, and other cases. ● Being able to work full-time and internal mobility. ● Excellent verbal and written communication skills. ● Advanced familiarity with the Iranian electronic commerce law and cyber-crime act. ● In-depth knowledge of criminal, civil, and employment laws. ● Accurate and attentive to details. ● Ability to multitask and deliver under pressure. ● A team player who can work effectively with colleagues at all levels. Plus: ● Knowledge of English. ● Master’s degree from a top-tier law school. ● Knowledge of Iran’s startup ecosystem.
