Job Description

To act as junior Architect and Urban Planner reporting to senior management. The candidate will be mainly involved with urban planning and financial analysis of development project, but will also be involved in occasional architecture projects. Prepare feasibility study reports for development projects. Undertake land use valuation analysis including financial feasibility for projects. Keep up-to-date on local competition, market conditions and relevant development by-laws, regulations, and guidelines. Assist in the city approval process for land use change for public and private sector clients. Assist in the preparation of client correspondence, site inspection reports and Power Point presentations. Develop project plans, schedules and budgets for development projects. Ability to prepare high architecture quality design and drawings. Ability to prepare second phase drawing (Detailed plan). Other duties as required.
