Job Description

Mission

  • To create and manage an environment in which all ITS facets of quality can be measured, organized, and enhanced. This environment covers information management, workplace methods, tools, reporting mechanisms, and targets.
  • To set up and manage the execution of automated tests and automation tools efficiently and reliably.
  • To ensure software functionality meets requirements that involve manually testing features and functionalities of IT systems to verify they work as intended according to specifications and user needs.

Responsibilities

  • To share knowledge, document, update, prioritize, and plan the test activities and the new related processes.
  • To Identify and report quality KPIs of projects, project risks, and risk of open issues and track software issues and defects and administration of user acceptance testing (QA) for the billing charging platform.
  • To demonstrate enhanced proficiency in Waterfall, Agile, and DevOps methodologies, as reflected in successful project deliveries, improved collaboration, and positive feedback from team members.
  • To align quality control assigned domain with the company demand management lifecycle process (from requirement gathering until post-implementation test), delivery, implementation, and deployment plans.
  • To set up and maintain controls and documentation procedures for testing point of way and develop a feedback mechanism so that learning from testing is deployed back into practice.
  • To establish and update a business model for information system quality and metrics within the company context, consistent with high performance.
  • To test occurs within the framework of the quality agreed process model for the billing charging platform.
  • To validate test plans and test scenarios as per the agreed framework within ITS and vendors.
  • To implement all changes in the user acceptance test environment and ensure its availability for business.
  • To resolve ITS quality control problems/concerns with customers, test teams, or other staff related to the production of P&S in the billing charging platform.
  • To ensure availability, reliability, and quality of testing systems through aggressive monitoring
  • To generate performance test plan, test case, and test script with Non-functional testing knowledge and execution of performance tests by standard tools(Like Jmeter, and WPLT).
  • To gain comprehensive expertise in automating API testing for various technologies and protocols using standard tools and open-source libraries (selenium/Jmeter) and API testing for any type of technology like (Rest, WebSocket, Postman, SOAP UI, Burp, and Swagger).
  • To update Testlink, Icare, ITM, IPM, and performance test tools and work actively with various Quality tools daily.
  • To develop a deep understanding and hands-on proficiency in conducting manual regression testing on various software platforms, including applications, websites, and web services.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, or related fields.
  • At least 3 years of experience in an IT environment; with experience in supervising/managing others.
  • Experience working in a medium to large organization.
  • Experience in quality roles is an advantage.
