To lead and mentor the IT infrastructure managers in planning, implementation, and time-bounded delivery from requirements clarification to design and delivery acceptance.
To manage time and cost-effectiveness of solution planning and implementation followed by business objectives and budgeting plans.
To ensure compliance with corporate policies, legal obligations, and standard requirements on selection, configuration, and expansion of infrastructure capacity.
To establish and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders, including vendors, partners, and clients.
To plan and provide detailed dimensioning and forecasting of the required infrastructure portfolio (hardware, infrastructural software, expertise, and processes) to ensure an appropriate and optimum level of successful delivery plans.
To manage, develop, and maintain an integrated system for the end-to-end demand management of clients.
To establish and strengthen infrastructure or cloud architecture and support policies across the organization.To drive appropriate upgrade, expansion, and modernization plans across infrastructure assets to meet future needs.
To collaborate with service or project owners or the PMO team to ensure business requirements for infrastructure resources are incorporated into multi-year plans.
To provide technical infrastructure advice and guidance to organization leaders, division heads, and relevant committees (such as a and r) to ensure business benefits are derived from large IT investments in hardware.
To actively communicate with vendors, solution providers, and hardware manufacturers to stay aware of the infrastructure roadmaps, security-related concerns, and technology shifting to enrich decisions on new IT investments.
To act as the single point of contact for the design and delivery of infrastructure (computing, storage, etc.).To support it/business-related projects.
To interfere and resolve complex technical or managerial issues during the entire infrastructure planning, installation, integration, and acceptance delivery life cycle.
To closely collaborate with the tendering committee and procurement teams for shortlisting the best providers and contractors.
To ensure data integrity of Configuration Management Database (CMDB) and Data Center Infrastructure Management (DCIM) consoles across new expansion and change activities and projects.
To collaborate with related teams to monitor the IT infrastructure equipment delivery in terms of the quality of receivables.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent.
At least 10 years of experience in the area of specialization; at least 2 years of experience in the IT division of ISP companies with experience in managing/supervising infrastructure teams and engineers.
Operation, Administration, And Maintenance (OAM) experience in virtualization technology, operating systems, databases, data center systems, cloud computing, backup, and storage equipment.
Extensive experience leading infrastructure delivery teams inclusive of scope, scheduling, budgeting, and project planning
