IT Applications Specialist

Position Intro
The IT Applications Specialist is responsible for overseeing, administering, and enhancing IT applications and solutions to ensure seamless business operations and optimal performance aligned with organizational needs. This role serves as a critical link between business stakeholders, Service providers and IT, effectively addressing business requirements through tailored IT solutions.

Major Responsibilities
- Business Needs Analysis & Solution Evaluation:
- Serve as a liaison between business users and IT, gathering and analyzing requirements to define project scope and specifications.
- Evaluate and recommend technology solutions to optimize business processes and address existing pain points.
- Identify business requirements to enhance digitalization and automation initiatives.
- Application Management & Support:
- Administer the installation, configuration, and regular upgrades of applications.
- Proactively monitor software performance, troubleshoot issues, and manage escalations and resolutions for critical incidents.
- Conduct Business Continuity Planning (BCP) and implement Disaster Recovery (DR) solutions to ensure operational resilience.
- Prioritize issues and follow up on resolutions on behalf of service recipients.
- Conduct regular meetings with superusers and establish strong relationships with key business stakeholders.
- User Training & Documentation:
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including software configurations, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and user guides.
- Facilitate training for superusers and end-users to build a capable user pool, maximizing application efficiency and utilization.
- Stakeholder Collaboration & Project Management:
- Foster and maintain strong relationships with business stakeholders to remain aligned with evolving needs and deliver relevant IT solutions.
- Lead and manage IT projects effectively, conducting risk assessments, changing management processes, and timely issue resolution.
- Value Delivery & Vendor Management:
- Ensure sustainable value delivery by developing long-lasting solutions to business challenges, emphasizing user adoption and satisfaction.
- Oversee vendor partnerships, ensuring adherence to service agreements while fostering commitment to Nestlé's standards and goals.






Key Requirements
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience in IT application management and support, with a focus on ERP and data integration, particularly within FMCG environments.

• ITIL, Project Management, or other relevant certifications are preferred.
• Below technical skills are must:

- English Fluency is must.
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with data integration technologies.
- Familiarity with BI tools and data analysis models.
- Strong background in project management methodologies in software development practices.
- Knowledge of security best practices and compliance standards for IT applications aligned with Nestle global standards.
- Familiarity with enterprise systems (ERP, CRM) and data integration processes.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective crisis management and decision-making abilities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
