Job Description
The Role Develop and implement purchasing contracts per management instructions, policies and procedures. Represent company in negotiating contracts and formulating policies with suppliers. Direct and coordinate activities of personnel engaged in buying and distributing materials, equipment, machinery and supplying commodities. Extensive knowledge and know how on currency allocation, wire transfers sanction rules and policies current banking transaction with sanction in plan. Analyze market and delivery systems to assess present and future material availability- market report on a daily/weekly basis. Suppliers evaluation based on price, quality, service, support, availability, reliability and capability. Monitor and apply legal rules and regulations. Maintain records of goods ordered and received. Monitoring all custom process and handle the related correspondence Manage the process of getting necessary permissions from Ministry of Commerce. Extensive knowledge of LC text and wording-responsible for LC opening Extensive knowledge of sea freight and custom regulation Plan and coordinate custom clearance procedures. Requirements
1. Preferably educated in Business, Management or Economics 2. Minimum of experience: 3 3. Preferably Western Educated. 4. Experience in working with multi-national companies. 5. Knowledge on banking regulations and money transfers with sanction 6. Knowledge on LC – its vocabulary, structure and operational side on execution. 7. Knowledge on LC Documentation. 8. Knowledge of ocean freights. 9. Preferred knowledge on logistic and port operation – both southern and northern ports of Iran. 10. Friendly and social character. 11. Reliable, trustworthy, dependable
