Job Description
Objective: To provide leadership in achieving the sales targets and performance against budget. To ensure a sustainable long-term business through the development of tactical plans in line with overall sales strategy. To ensure committed employees and loyal customers. Main responsibilities: Create and implement plans to achieve overall targets undertaking budget re-forecasts and updates as required. Appoint, manage, motivate and develop a high performing sales team which delivers within the company and contributes as part of the Canola Team. Work closely with the team to continuously improve the business performance, customer loyalty and employee commitment levels. Closely monitor the sales status and future pipeline, ensuring the organisation maximizes the business performance, deals proactively with opportunities and responds rapidly to threats or risks. Manage the Sales and Marketing Departments to ensure effective operations between the different business areas, thereby providing customer solutions through effective interfaces and teamwork. Identify and share best practice and create continuous improvement to enable Canola to stay ahead of competitors and be number one in our major markets. Establish a relationship with the management of current and potential major customers helping to progress the sales cycle and ensure customer retention. Requirements
University qualifications: Ideally qualified to post graduate level with a business, marketing or engineering degree and with business English fluency Previous experience: Preferably possesses 15 years industry experience working across functions [with the majority of experience within sales related activities] within the print and document solutions industry. Experience in other areas also considered. Specialist knowledge: Management of Major Accounts, Distribution Network and Volume Sales Other Skills: - Charismatic and commercial business leader, results driven, demonstrating courage, energy and commitment, managing the business as if it was his / her own - Hands on, strong practical business management skills – understands the detail of the business and how it operates - Numerate, analytical and intellectually strong, able to get to the root of the problems, using good judgment and facilitating teams to implement solutions - Excellent interpersonal skills, diplomatic and sensitive to team and cross-cultural dynamics Ideal Age Range : 35-50 Language Skills : Fluent in English
