Job Description

Lead and oversee the company’s financial planning, budgeting, and financial performance analysis processes to ensure financial sustainability, optimize resource allocation, manage financial risks, and support strategic decision-making across complex oil, gas, and petrochemical projects.

Job Description:

• Design and implement financial planning, budgeting, and cost control systems.
• Manage the budgeting team at the holding-company level.
• Analyze budget deviations and prepare management and strategic reports.
• Manage liquidity, cash flow, and financial forecasting for projects.
• Prepare various management reports as requested by senior management.
• Analyze financial statements of group and competitor companies and develop financial, funding, and resource management strategies.
• Manage financial risks, including fluctuations in oil and gas prices, exchange rates, and financing risks.
• Support the sourcing of domestic and international financing and participate in negotiations with banks and investors.

Qualifications:

• Work Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in finance and accounting, including at least 5 years in managerial positions within large-scale oil, gas, and petrochemical industries (holding level).
• Education: Master’s or Ph.D. degree in Financial Management, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration (Finance major), or Industrial Engineering (Financial/Economic major).
• Language: Proficiency in English, particularly in report writing and international negotiations.

Professional Competencies:

• Strong command of financial principles, management accounting, and budgeting practices within the energy sector.
• Proficiency in financial modeling and analytical tools (Advanced Excel, Power BI, SAP, Oracle).
• Ability to perform economic analyses of oil and gas projects (NPV, IRR, Payback Period).
• Familiarity with global oil and gas markets and associated risks.
• Knowledge of risk management and financial hedging instruments (Hedging, Derivatives).
• Proficiency in International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
• Comprehensive understanding of corporate governance and commercial law.
