
Job Description
We are seeking a finance professional with a strong accounting background to join our team as an Senior Specialist.
This position plays a key role in maintaining the company’s financial health and supporting strategic decision-making through accurate, timely, and actionable financial insights.
The ideal candidate will combine accounting precision with business acumen and will oversee both month-end closing and financial oversight processes, ensuring accuracy and consistency across all financial reports.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Performance Reporting & Analysis:
- Collect and analyze financial and operational data for monthly, quarterly, and annual management reports.
- Monitor actual performance versus budget and forecasts, identifying key variances and underlying drivers.
- Build and maintain financial models to assess profitability, cost efficiency, and business scenarios.
- Design and improve dashboards and reporting tools (Power BI, Excel, Tableau).
- Act as a financial business partner to operational and business units, providing insights for decision-making.
2. Month-End Closing & Financial Oversight:
- Lead and manage monthly and periodic account closing to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with accounting standards.
- Conduct financial oversight and control activities, including account reviews, cost control, and policy compliance.
- Collaborate with accounting teams to enhance the quality, accuracy, and timeliness of financial data.
- Provide post-closing financial analysis to support management decisions.
3. Budgeting, Variance Analysis & Decision Support:
- Analyze variances against budget and forecasts, explaining root causes and business impacts.
- Prepare reports and recommendations for management performance reviews.
- Monitor cash flow versus budget and coordinate with finance and treasury teams.
4. Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with business unit leaders, accounting, and operations to ensure financial alignment.
- Translate complex financial data into clear, actionable insights for non-finance teams.
5. Reporting & Insight Generation:
- Prepare executive-level reports, dashboards, and presentations for senior management.
- Ensure data integrity, consistency, and compliance in all financial reporting.
- Conduct ad-hoc financial analyses to support pricing, investment, or operational decisions.
Qualifications & Key Skills:
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting (mandatory)
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in Accounting and FP&A roles(mandatory) Having auditing experience will be considered an advantage.
- Experience in multi-entity organizations or fast-paced industries (e.g., e-commerce) is an advantage.
Technical Skills:
- Strong command of financial accounting, reporting, budgeting, and variance analysis.
