About the job Persian Steel Group is looking for a ‘topnotch’ Financial Manager to join our team. Persian Steel is managing to supply wide variety of productions by using the Most Equipped Steel Complex. Thus, you will play a pivotal role in a growth organization with big ambitions. Reporting to the CEO and as a member of the Senior Management Team, you will play an important role in the continuous growth of Persian Steel as well as shaping the future by providing solid financial data and analysis to facilitate decision making across the organization and maintaining a proper controls environment. Persian Steel has established in 1987 with the policy of knowledge and technical skills development based on latest technologies in steel, construction and lubricant products that planned to offer its stock for sale on the public markets. It is therefore important that the Financial Manager can develop and execute business cases to support the future growth of Persian Steel. Your Responsibilities Your responsibility will be quite divers. You will have the overall responsibility of the Finance Department and it will be your responsibility to maintaining proper accounting and bookkeeping practice for Persian Steel. In addition, you will play a vital role in assisting the Executive Management team shaping the future by being facts based, understanding the business and providing important insights into the business model. Also, your responsibilities will include: • Development of KPI based management reporting • Financial reporting to CEO • Ad hoc analysis supporting Persian Steel management • Optimization and streamlining of financial processes • Prepare financial statements, business activity reports, and forecasts • Monitor financial details to ensure that legal requirements are met • Supervise employees who do financial reporting and budgeting • Review company financial reports and seek ways to reduce costs • Analyze market trends to maximize profits and find expansion opportunities • Help management make financial decisions

Requirements

What we expect We expect at least 5-10 years of experience as a Financial Manager and have an acceptable experience of working in a Public Held company. As a person you are flexible, you have a strategic mindset and good communications skills, being able to communicate financial topics and issues in a compelling way to non-financial colleagues. You are robust, pragmatic, co-operative and you enjoy being a part of our company. You possess strong leadership skills and strong personal integrity. In addition, we expect: • Analytical excellence and business acumen • Business understanding translated into the ability to build business cases supporting Persian Steel’s future development • Good knowledge of cost accounting and familiar with production • Experience streamlining and automating (finance) processes • Controlling experience from a development environment • A clear understanding that the finance function is an enabler of the business – helping other functions to better performance. Required qualifications & experience • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or a related discipline • Minimum five years’ experience in Public Joint Stock Company • Securities/Financial Markets Certification • MBA or CFA or professional qualification in related field would be a distinct advantage • Good understanding of monetary and fiscal policies • Working knowledge of financial markets (local and international)
