Job Description

We are seeking a detail‑oriented and committed Accountant to join our client’s finance team. This role is responsible for supporting daily accounting activities, managing accounts payable and receivable, and providing accurate and timely financial information to support business operations and decision‑making.
The Accountant will play a key role in maintaining high‑quality financial records, preparing statements of accounts, and supporting audits and internal stakeholders. The successful candidate will help maximize financial performance through careful analysis of payables and receivables and effective coordination with suppliers and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities
Accounting & Financial Operations
Perform day‑to‑day accounting activities, irrespective of the legal entity and based on trade and transaction requirements.
Verify Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) in line with company policies and procedures.
Provide weekly statements of accounts for different counterparties.
Support the management of AP/AR to help maximize financial performance and working capital efficiency.
AP / AR Analysis & Coordination
Analyze AP and AR balances to identify discrepancies, delays, and improvement opportunities.
Coordinate with suppliers regarding invoices, payments, and any required financial clarifications.
Keep track of bad debts and support actions on financial claims from different counterparties, in line with company procedures and management requirements.
Reporting & Audit Support
Prepare timely and accurate financial reports and ad hoc analyses based on company databases.
Provide supporting documents and schedules for yearly audits and as requested by management or auditors.
Ensure data quality and consistency in all financial reports and statements.
Cross‑Functional Support
Advise other teams on financial queries, regardless of the trading desk.
Provide support to other finance teams in terms of reports, reconciliations, and data analysis.
Handle large volumes of data and maintain a strong sense for numbers, variances, and trends.

What You Bring
Education in Business Administration, Economics, Mathematics, Finance, or Accounting.
2–3 years of experience in accounting, finance, or a related role.
Proficient in spreadsheets, databases, and MS Office, especially Excel.
Good analytical and reporting skills with strong attention to numerical accuracy.
Excellent command of English, both written and verbal.
skilled in working independently with minimum supervision, while meeting deadlines and quality standards.
Familiarity with SQL and Python would be an advantage for handling and analyzing financial data.
