Job Description

• Manage funds in such a manner as to maximize return on investment while minimizing risk, and while also ensuring that an adequate control structure is in place over the transfer and investment of funds. • Ensure all the administrative task of the office and business is up to date • Maintain a documented system of accounting policies and procedures • Use hedging to mitigate financial risks related to the interest rates on the company's borrowings, as well as on its foreign exchange positions • Maintain banking relationships • Arrange for equity and debt financing • Manage the preparation of the company's budget • Report to management on variances from the established budget, and the reasons for those variances • Assist management in the formulation of its overall strategic direction • Engage in ongoing cost reduction analyses in all areas of the company • Review the performance of competitors and report on key issues to management • Interpret the company's financial results to management and recommend improvement activities • Review company bottlenecks and recommend changes to improve the overall level of company throughput • Compile key business metrics and report on them to management • Manage the capital budgeting process, based on constraint analysis and discounted cash flow analysis • Oversee the extension of credit to customers • Recording daily accounting document • Develop, maintain, and analyze budgets, preparing periodic reports that compare budgeted costs to actual costs • Plan, modify, develop and implement the record keeping and accounting systems • Prepare, examine and analyze accounting records, financial statements and any related reports to evaluate accuracy, comprehensiveness and conformance to reporting and procedural standards • Supervision of the execution of financial accounting systems, credits and banking affairs, insurance and the ministry of finance; • Prepare monthly analysis of cost of goods sold and operational expenses against prior year and budget, providing explanations and business solutions to help mitigate the risks • Handle and manage all activities and reports regarding payments, taxes, VAT, bank accounts, salaries, insurance, social security, etc. • Develop, control and report on budgets and preparing periodic and occasional reports on them, especially analytical reports to help the management in developing strategies and prioritizing activities and investments • Prepare balance sheets, statements, financial ratios, etc. • Plan, control, audit and analyze financial records and report on stores and branches • Control and report physical assets inventory • Provide internal and external audit services for businesses, individuals, branches or shareholders • Analyze business operations, trends, costs, revenues, profits, financial commitments and obligations and plan and project future performance and provide advice • Preparing sales reports seasonally and registering tax incurred costs

Requirements

The finance manager candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting, or equivalent business experience and 10+ years of progressively responsible experience for a major company or division of a large corporation. Experience in luxury brands is considered as an advantage. Preference will be given to candidates with the Certified Public Accountant or Certified Management Accountant designations. Excellent communication skills are essential, particularly in regard to presenting the results of analyses to management. Should have an outstanding knowledge of electronic spreadsheets. Strong leadership and communications skills.
