Job Description

- Working within the Capital Projects function to coordinate execution of EPC projects within the company and with the selected EPC firm. - Responsible for all aspects of Project Management for projects from early planning & development to final execution. - Lead preparation of projects execution plans, covering all of the customary elements for Capital Projects. - Establish, lead and coordinate cross-functional team to drive projects to ensure proper integration and alignment with broader company goals - Establish risk profile for project(s) and proactively manage mitigation plans, dealing dynamically with unexpected outcomes to ensure project(s) success. - Position reports functionally to Sr. Director of Capital Projects.

Requirements

- Minimum fifteen years relevant work experience in leadership of capital projects, preferably throughout all project phases. - Candidate must have a proven record of successfully completing projects on schedule and within budget. - Experience with project management of process development or infrastructure implementation projects in oil & gas, chemical, petrochemical and similar sectors highly preferred. - Experience with early phases of project development planning and the interface with process development, including process scale-up risk mitigation strategies and design development. - Experience with “first of a kind” and technology development projects, with a proven record of successful achieving goals under tight timelines, highly preferred. - Technical background in chemical engineering is preferred. - Work experience in a top tier engineering firm or operating company highly preferred. - Must be very flexible, able to learn independently and communicate well and concise with a crossfunctional team. - Desire to succeed tempered by maturity and a good sense of humor.
