Job Description

Mentor and supervise data science aspects of the team.
Lead technical design sessions; innovative problem-solving.
Document and develop technical solutions aligned with business objectives.
Supervise agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
Help the team to identify and remove any obstacles or impediments that may affect their progress or productivity, including data-related challenges, technical dependencies, and stakeholder engagement.
Provide guidance and support to team members on Agile principles and practices, helping them continuously improve their processes and deliverables.
Prioritize projects and tasks and plan the sprints with respect to OKRs.
Build, maintain, and improve, deploy new and existing suites of algorithms and their underlying systems.

Requirements

Extensive data science experience with super deep knowledge in ML and DL modeling coding capability as this person needs to make designs happen.
Familiar with the latest trends and technologies in data science and artificial intelligence.
Strong knowledge of statistical analysis.
Strong knowledge of Data Science tools (e.g., Numpy, Pandas, Scikit Learn, Tensorflow, and Keras).
Knowledge of data engineering concepts (data warehousing, data pipelines, model deployment, etc.)
Proficiency with Python and SQL and ability to write complex Python codes and SQL queries.
Demonstrated ability to communicate ideas and analysis results effectively both verbally and in writing to both a technical and non-technical audience via web-conferencing and at in-person meetings.
Exceptional communication and collaboration skills to understand business needs and deliver solutions.
Extensive experience with big data platforms (Spark, and Hadoop)
Decision-making and planning and organization.
Problem-solving and time management skills.
Negotiation and supervisory skills.
